Kate Middleton joins the future in-laws Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice at friends' wedding

Kate Middleton took time out of planning her own wedding to attend the nuptials of close friends Honourable Sarah Louise Stourton and Harry Aubrey-Fletcher today.

With her fiance Prince William on duty as an usher, his bride-to-be arrived solo at the church service in the North Yorkshire village of Aldborough.

But she was in good company with future brother-in-law Prince Harry in attendance, as well as his cousin Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Dave Clark.

Despite temperatures hovering around zero and snow on the ground, the princess-in-waiting braved the freezing temperatures with her bare legs on show under her fitted knee-length black velvet coat.

Miss Middleton, who turns 29 tomorrow, accessorised her outfit with a tilted black pillbox hat with a lone feather sticking out of it and matching purple heels and clutch bag.

After years of dating, it was the first wedding the couple had attended since officially announcing their engagement last year.

The last wedding they attended together - of Harry and Rosie Meade - in October took place just days after they got engaged on holiday in Kenya.

But Miss Middleton's sapphire and diamond ring was absent as the couple did not announce their engagement until November 16.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice, 22, looked chic in a navy coat, matching court shoes and a royal blue fascinator on the crown of her head.

The 28-year-old groom, whose father is Sir Henry, Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, is one of Prince William's closest friends.

Over the years, Miss Middleton has got to know the bride, with the four even holidaying together in Klosters, Switzerland in 2008.

The new Mr and Mrs Aubrey-Fletcher have also joined Prince William and his future wife on hunting parties.

Arriving at St Andrews Church, the 28-year-old bride covered her floor-length wedding gown in a white bridal coat, with her bridesmaids also wearing coats as they carried her train through the snowy church yard.

The bride, who is known to her friends as Louise, is the daughter of Edward William Stourton, 24th Baron Stourton, 27th Baron Mowbray, 28th Baron Segrave and his wife Penelope.

She is the niece of Radio 4 Today presenter Edward Stourton and was born in the Harrogate District in 1982.

Also in attendance at the wedding were regulars of the Princes' social circle, including Holly Branson, Glasses Direct millionaire Jamie Murray-Wells, club owner Guy Pelly, Tom Van Straubezee and William's former Eton schoolmate James Meade and his brother Harry.

Supporting the bride were her younger siblings Isabella Laura, 27; Camilla Charlotte, 23; Francesca Jane, 22; and James Charles, 19.

And on the groom's side were his older brothers John Robert, 33, and Thomas Egerton, 30.

Among the gifts on their wedding list include cream Jasper Conran crockery, a croquet set, Monopoly and Scrabble.

After the service, the guests were transported five miles away to the reception at Allerton Park via double-decker bus.

They've insisted all along that they are just good friends - now Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough appear determined to hammer the point home by wearing friendship bracelets.

The pair were spotted sporting identical bands yesterday as they went out shopping in South Africa, with Derek following meekly in Cheryl's footsteps.

The multicoloured beads look handmade and appear to have been bought during the pair's holiday near Cape Town - and are a clear sign the couple are closer than ever.

Cheryl seemed to be making a very deliberate point and made sure she brandished her wrist towards photographers on their outing to a shopping mall with friends yesterday.

The Girls Aloud star had got rather dressed up for her jaunt to the shops, wearing killer heels that were so uncomfortable, she ended up taking them off and carrying them.

The X Factor judge had glammed up in a sparkly zip-fronted mini shirt dress and bracelet.

The pair are now in the second week of their holiday, based in Camps Bay near Cape Town, where they celebrated New Year - and shared their first public kiss at a party.

Dancing With The Stars professional Derek, 26, had Cheryl, 26, l to her own devices for a while as he surfed in the sea around Camps Bay, Cape Town, where the pair have been staying.

The dancer has reportedly also bought the singer a £10,000 diamond bracelet as a love token.

She apparently jetted off with the dancer hours after she and ex Ashley swapped Christmas gifts.

And Chelsea star Ashley was reportedly left close to tears as Cheryl and Derek were snapped at a New Year's Eve bash together.

Megan Fox got swept off her feet on a romantic lunch with her husband Brian Austin Green yesterday.

As the pair left a Los Angeles restaurant, the actress launched herself into the arms of her man and wrapped her legs around his waist in a giant hug.

Both Brian, 37, and Megan, 24, had huge grins on their faces with Brian laughing at his overexcited wife.

The pair had just enjoyed a lunch at the Chin Chin Grill in Studio City, California, near the pair's home in the Hollywood Hills.

The romantic couple, who wed in Hawaii last June, have recently returned from a Christmas holiday to the place where exchanged vows.

The couple, along with Brian's son Kassius, 8, spent the festive period on at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, where they lounged on the beach and swam in the sea.

Brian is still a series regular on the hit ABC show Desperate Housewives in which he plays the hunky handyman Keith, a love interest for Marcia Cross’ character Bree.
He also has four films coming out in the next year.

The socialite stepped out in Los Angeles today wearing a pair of jeans that clung to her every curve.

And judging by the sky-high heels and confident attitude, the 29-year-old is clearly feeling happy and healthy.

Holding on to one of her little chihuahua dogs, Paris went on a shopping spree at the Beverly Glen Market in Beverly Hills.

The former reality star attended a dinner party last night at the Palihouse in West Hollywood, where she bumped into Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick.

Trawick is Paris' manager, and the two have been friends for a very long time.

According to a source at the party, Paris and Britney were very happy to see each other.

Britney was shy with most of the people there. But she and Paris hugged and talked for awhile,' says the source.

Meanwhile things are a little safer for Paris after a man who was caught outside her home late last year has been sentenced to community service.

James Rainford had to be physically restrained by the socialite's bodyguards after he knocked on the star's front door in October.

Rainford was arrested and taken into custody for questioning, and pleaded no contest to civil assault.

He was subsequently sentenced to 20 days of community service earlier this week and placed on three years probation, according to TMZ.

Paris has only just returned to Los Angeles from a trip to Mexico with boyfriend Cy Waits, 34, where she took part in adventurous activities like zip-lining in Cabo San Lucas' Wild Canyon Park.

Kerry Katona looks more than a little nervous as she takes to the ice for the first time with mentors Torvill and Dean ahead of her Dancing On Ice debut this weekend.

The 30-year-old presenter looked tentative and apprehensive as she made her way on to the rink in the session last year.

But Kerry, who wore leggings, a baseball jacket and grey gloves for the rehearsal, soon cheered up when she was met by legendary ice skating champions Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean, the resident mentors for celebrity contestants on the ITV show.

Kerry is just one of the 18 skaters who will take to the ice on Sunday night, but admits she is terrified about facing the show's judges, particularly acid-tongued Jason Gardiner.

Gardiner has never made a secret of his dislike of Kerry, saying when she was first rumoured to be taking part: 'We’ve had some rude and very annoying people on the show but Kerry would sink us to an all new low.

'We should be aiming for someone like Victoria Beckham, not Kerry at the other end of the scale.'

But Kerry is now hoping to win over the judge with her talents on the ice.

She said: 'I know he doesn’t like me. I just hope he judges me on my skating ability and doesn’t try to bring up my past to put me down.

'All I can do is my best. I’ve come a long way in the past 12 months.'

Kerry wasn't the only one who appeared to be struggling during the rehearsal.

Photos of the rehearsal, which took place last October but will be shown on Sunday's series premiere, show Nadia Sawalha spending more of her time on her bottom on the ice than standing upright.

And Nadia is finding the weekend's first episode more than a little daunting as she will be competing against other stars who have found picking up the skating skill a lot easier.

So it came as no surprise to see Suri Cruise sporting the most adorable ensemble for a trip to the shops with her mother.

As Katie Holmes,32, popped out to do the weekly shop the fashionable four-year-old
dressed up in a brown faux fur jacket a black skirt, stepping out in a pair of red and pink statement booties.

Katie opted for a plain but chic outfit of jeans and a black puffa jacket but it was little Suri who stole the show.

The pair later went to visit Tom Cruise on set as he shot a night scene for Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol.

The family shared hugs and kisses in-between takes with Tom and Katie all smiles as they appeared to share a joke together.

The Cruise clan appeared happy and relaxed in start contrast to last month when Katie celebrated her birthday.

On not one but two separate dinner dates for her birthday Katie appeared down in the dumps and struggled to raise a smile during the celebrations last month.

The former Dawson's Creek star - who is married to Tom Cruise - admitted that she turns to her stylish four-year-old for wardrobe advice.

And the little fashionista certainly knows what she likes for her own wardrobe. ‘The other day we came out of a store, and she said, “I want to go there,” pointing at another store quite a distance away,’ Holmes continued.

'In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, “Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away.”’
